Job summary

Shimmer & shine is seeking a full-time Accountant in Singapore to manage the complete accounting function and daily operations. You will handle financial records, reporting and compliance, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations and timely payroll submissions.

The role requires experience with Singapore payroll, CPF and corporate tax matters, and the ability to work independently in a structured, detail-oriented manner. Collaboration with auditors and banks is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Relevant accounting experience in Singapore.
• Familiar with Singapore payroll, CPF and corporate tax matters.
• Experience handling full set of accounts preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile sales and payment records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly payroll and CPF submissions.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial reports.
• Assist with corporate income tax filing and annual financial matters.
• Maintain proper accounting records, invoices, receipts and supporting documents.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities when required.
• Handle accounting and reconciliation for multiple business entities.
• Provide financial information and reports to management when required.
