Job summary

VEEDA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible Accounts Executive / Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Woodlands 11, Singapore. You will handle full sets of accounts and assist with month-end close, GST submissions, and audits.

This role offers a 5-day work week, standard hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and a friendly environment where you can develop accounting skills in a manufacturing-focused company.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to work in the Woodlands 11 area.
• Prior exposure to the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including AP, AR and General Ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper accounting records.
• Prepare monthly accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with GST preparation and submission.
• Assist with year-end closing, audit and tax matters.
• Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
