Job summary

Jin Choon Civil Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Accountant to manage full set of accounts (AR, AP, Inventory, GL) and support monthly and year-end closing. You will prepare financial reports, vouchers, and journal entries, and coordinate GST submissions. You will liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3 years full set of accounting experiences.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting software is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Initiative, good working attitude, strong sense of responsibility.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AR, AP, Inventory, GL).
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities including reports and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and accounts schedules.
• Prepare payment vouchers and journal entries and input into system.
• Responsible for GST submission.
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit coordination.
• Liaise with tax consultant for income tax returns.
• Prepare surveys and statistics forms.
• Perform administrative or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
