Job summary

CEY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a finance professional with 2-3 years of experience to manage a broad range of accounting duties in Singapore.

You will perform financial analysis, budgeting, tax advisory, internal audit, and cash forecasting while handling AP, AR and GL and group accounts. The role requires strong Excel and SAP skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of financing and accounting working experience.
• Able to handle most finance functions including financial analysis, budgeting, tax advisory, internal audit and cash forecast.
• Able to handle full set of accounts with proficiency in AP, AR and GL; group accounts.
• Proficient in SAP ERP, Excel and Word.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and research skills; good interpersonal communication.
• Team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate as lead point of contact for customer matters.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Identify and grow opportunities within territory; collaborate with sales teams to drive growth.
• Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
• Handle and resolve financial queries and problems.
• Oversee transactions to ensure proper, timely recording in compliance with local policy.
• Manage day-to-day GL activity including overhead expenses and vendor costs; perform monthly closing.
• Produce monthly financial statements, management reports and group accounts.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports, tax computations, GST filing and intercompany reconciliations.
• Compile budgets, monthly and quarterly P&L forecasts and analytical reports.
• Prepare weekly AR status and monthly working capital analyses.
• Review AR/AP and daily workflows to meet policy requirements.
• Prepare staff cost, headcount analyses and client profitability analyses.
• Review cash flow analyses and forecasts.
• Develop internal controls and report weekly work schedules to Director/Finance Manager.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax advisors and group companies.
