Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a competent Finance professional to oversee core accounting functions. The role covers AP, AR, GL, and tax/compliance with a strong emphasis on month-end activities.

You will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with local standards, including GST and statutory requirements, while supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or ACCA qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience; manufacturing or trading industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice verification, PO matching, vendor master maintenance, payment processing, and resolution of payment discrepancies.
• Handle Accounts Receivable functions, including intercompany invoicing, debit and credit notes, AR reconciliations, ageing reports, and month-end closing activities.
• Support General Ledger and month-end closing, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting schedules, treasury matters, and internal and external audits.
• Manage tax and compliance activities, including GST filing, statutory reporting, monthly financial controls, and submissions to relevant local authorities.
• Prepare full sets of monthly and annual accounts, financial compilation reports in accordance with SFRS, XBRL submissions, and supporting documentation including salary schedules.

Education
