Job summary

ITOP TAX PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Accountant to oversee a full set of accounts for multiple clients, handle GST/taxation matters, and liaise with clients on accounting queries. You will prepare schedules, financial statements, and support annual closing and submissions.

The role requires a accounting diploma/degree, experience in an accounting environment, and proficiency with MYOB, AutoCount, QuickBooks and Xero. Independence and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or above.
• Prior experience in an accounting firm or similar environment preferred.
• Proficient with MYOB, AutoCount, QuickBooks and Xero.
• Able to manage accounts for multiple client companies with minimal supervision.
• Strong independence and self-motivation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Set of Accounts

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Handle GST/Taxation matters accurately and on time.
• Liaise with clients to address accounting queries and any concerns.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare schedules, reports, and financial statements.
• Compile Financial Statements per relevant standards.
• Support annual closing, tax computations and submissions.

3. Standards Knowledge

• Adhere to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

4. Compliance

• Stay updated on accounting standards and tax laws.
• Improve processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting and above
• Preferably with prior experience in an accounting firm or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, AutoCount, QuickBooks, and Xero.
