Job summary

Terra Systems Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounts Executive in Singapore to manage invoicing, AR/AP, GST compliance, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with multiple entities to ensure accurate books and timely payments, while supporting audits and process improvements.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor's in accounting/finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in common accounting software and Excel is expected, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable management to ensure timely payments.
  • Vendor payments, staff expense claims, accounts payable processing, and payment scheduling.
  • Inventory coordination and delivery arrangements to support operations.
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of monthly/annual financial reports.
  • GST calculations, filings, and tax compliance.
  • Inter-entity reconciliations with subsidiaries and sister companies.
  • Assist audits and other finance-related tasks.

Job description

Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoicing & Collections: Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients, and manage accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Payments & Vendor Management: Process vendor payments and staff expense claims, manage accounts payable (AP), and arrange payment schedules.
  • Inventory & Delivery Coordination: Collaborate with relevant departments to maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate delivery arrangements to ensure smooth operations.
  • Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting: Handle daily accounting entries, maintain the general ledger, and assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Calculate, file, and ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements.
  • Inter-Entity Collaboration: Manage financial transactions and reconciliations involving local and overseas subsidiaries and sister companies.
  • Other Duties: Support internal and external audits, and perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. Experience handling accounts for multiple related entities is an advantage.
Skills
  • Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and GST regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification (Advantageous): CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification or equivalent is highly advantageous.
