Job summary

SEAFORT NAVIGATION PTE. LTD. is seeking an accounting & finance professional to manage day-to-day financial activities in Singapore.

The role covers receivables, payables, GL, tax, and bank reconciliations, with monthly and yearly reporting. You will consolidate accounts for China and Singapore, handle fixed assets and accruals, and ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. Expect payroll processing and CPF contributions, with opportunities to contribute to cash flow

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with clients/ supplier who can speak Mandarin.
• Proficient in Excel and payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance duties including receivables and payables.
• Prepare timely month-end and year-end financial statements.
• Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards (China and Singapore).
• Manage fixed assets, prepayments, accruals and deposits.
• Liaise with banks and handle remittance issues.
• Process GST returns.
• Cash flow forecasting and fund management.
• Prepare monthly payroll and yearly IR8A.
• Submit monthly CPF contributions.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
• Prepare timely month-end and year-end financial and management reports(Full set accounts);
• Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards(China and Singapore);
• Fixed assets / prepayment / accrual & Deposit schedule
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulations as well as corporate policies.
• Liaise with banks on banking transactions; eg. Remittances issue
• Process GST returns
• Cash flow forecasting and fund management
• Preparing monthly Payroll and yearly IR8A
• Submit monthly CPF contribution
• Other ad-hoc assignment

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with clients/ Supplier who can speak mandarin.
• Well verse with Excel - Million accounting software & Payroll software
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
