Job summary

FINOVA BPO PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accountant in Singapore to manage the full set of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, consolidating financial statements, and providing consultancy services.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in external audit or accounting outsourcing, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is essential.

Job description

Main Job Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts of a portfolio of clients individually or supported by assistants.
• Handle Month end closing for a portfolio of companies.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
• Handle day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing and payroll.
• Consolidation of simple to complex group accounts.
• Compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Assist in providing financial management services.
• Solve complex accounting issues from time to time.
• Assist in consultancy and business advisory projects.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignment from time to time.

Qualification & Skills Required

• At least 1 year experience in external audit, accounting outsourcing practice and/or fund administration & fund accounting service provider.
• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or their equivalent.
• Have clear thinking, committed, meticulous, good time management, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently, effective verbal and written communication skill, honest and resilient.
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• IT skillset, knowledge of accounting software, RPA and other modern automation tools are highly desired.
