Job summary

Superstar Traders Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the finance department, handling accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and data entry. The role involves month-end closing, preparation of trial balances, and basic financial statements, with reconciling of balances and documenting banking processes.

Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar ERP, and able to work with accruals, fixed assets, and audit preparations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable/payable and payroll processes.
• Familiarity with double-entry accounting and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar ERP.
• Ability to prepare trial balance and simple financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system.
• Calculate customer/supplier account balances and reconcile with totals.
• Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
• Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
• Perform month-end closing activities.
• Process payroll transactions into the organizations accounting system.
• Record and process all business transactions within the organizations accounting system using principles of double-entry accounting.
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
• Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
• Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for managements use.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software (Such as SAP)
