Job summary

ENERGY MARKET COMPANY PTE LTD is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting professional to assist in day‑to‑day finance tasks, including AR/AP, invoicing, and balance sheet schedules. The role supports auditors and the Retail Platform team as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA, has 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience, is proficient in Excel, and familiar with Microsoft Office and Business Central. Singapore work for a growing energy trader.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA required.
• 3–5 years hands-on accounting experience, preferably AR/AP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling information to support revenue regime negotiations.
• Assist in compiling supporting invoices for exogenous claims.
• Support the implementation and user testing of the Invoice Now project, ensuring accuracy of UEN/GST numbers and resolving gaps.
• Assist in preparing audit confirmations on customer balances.
• Assist in monthly review of AR aging and processing customer billing and receipts.
• Create pdf invoices; Adobe Writer may be used to edit information.
• Assist with manual updates in Business Central for Retail Platform transactions and REC sales; ensure matching of RECs purchases.
• Assist in preparing balance sheet schedules and reconciliation; support auditors.
• Cover accountant/accounts executive duties in their absence and assist manager with other tasks as required.
