Job summary

Singapore Post Limited seeks an accounting intern for a full-time, 16-week program in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, record-to-report processes and financial statement prep under supervision.

You will work with Excel-based reporting tools, perform reconciliations, assist with year-end closing, and contribute to audit preparation while developing attention to detail and professional communication with the finance team.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Meticulous, organised, and comfortable working with numbers and large data sets.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping assistance including month-end / year-end closing tasks.
• Assist with bank and intercompany reconciliations, AP/AR records, and document filing.
• Support year-end audit preparation and preparation of schedules under SFRS(I).
