Job summary

Singapore Post offers a full-time internship in accounting to provide hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, the full record-to-report process, and month-end closings. You will record daily transactions, perform bank and intercompany reconciliations, and support the preparation of financial statements under SFRS(I) guidance.

You will work with the finance team to develop Excel-based reporting, gain ERP experience, and ensure accuracy while meeting deadlines, maintaining audit trails, and documenting

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Meticulous, organized, and able to handle large data sets.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions and perform bank/intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain AP/AR records and file supporting documentation.
• Assist month-end/year-end closings and variance analysis.
• Support audit preparation and other ad hoc finance tasks.
• Prepare supporting schedules for year-end audit under SFRS(I).
• Draft statutory financial statements as applicable.
