Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Detail-oriented, organized and comfortable with numbers.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a professional services environment.
• Willing to commit to a full-time internship for the department’s duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping, data entry, reconciliations, and basic accounting tasks for client accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, schedules, and working papers.
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and organise supporting documents in a timely manner.
• Assist with GST, tax, audit, and compliance-related documentation where required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and support client deliverables.
• Provide administrative support for finance operations, process improvements, and ad-hoc assignments.
