Job summary

Republic Polytechnic invites applications for an Associate Lecturer in the School of Business. The role focuses on facilitating authentic, industry-relevant learning experiences and mentoring students across various accounting and finance domains.

You will deliver, assess and continuously improve curricula, collaborating with colleagues to ensure high standards and a positive learning environment for PET and CET participants.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in accounting or related discipline is required; a postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, ICAEW, CPA Australia or equivalent are preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in accounting, audit, taxation, sustainability reporting, risk management or regulatory compliance.
• Ability to teach both Pre-Employment Training (PET) students and Continuing Education and Training (CET) adult learners.
• Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills; teaching, training or coaching experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate authentic and engaging learning experiences using PBL pedagogy and learner-centred approaches.
• Deliver lessons in accordance with approved curricula, assessment requirements and academic standards.
• Assess students' learning through assignments, projects and presentations with timely feedback.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
• Collaborate with Module Chairs and academic teams to enhance curriculum delivery and student experience.
