Job summary

Republic Polytechnic is seeking an Associate Lecturer in the School of Business to facilitate authentic, workplace-oriented learning through learner-centred education. You will lead engaging classes, deliver approved curricula, assess student work and provide constructive feedback while mentoring learners across PET and CET programs.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in accounting, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, ICAEW, CPA Australia or equivalent are preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in accounting, audit, taxation, sustainability reporting, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Ability to teach both Pre-Employment Training (PET) students and Continuing Education and Training (CET) adult learners.
• Experience in teaching, training or coaching will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate authentic and engaging learning experiences using PBL pedagogy and learner-centred approaches.
• Deliver lessons and ensure alignment with curricula, assessments and standards.
• Assess students and provide timely, constructive feedback on their work.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
• Collaborate with Module Chairs and academic teams to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Teach in areas such as Financial and Management Accounting, Audit & Assurance, Taxation, ESG & Sustainability Reporting, AI & Digital Technologies in Accounting, Risk, Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Governance, Business Law and Company Law.
