Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Lecturer to contribute to teaching and to nurturing students’ lifelong learning. Beyond instruction, you will engage in industry projects and maintain strong links with industry and schools to keep your practice current.

You should have relevant work experience in Accountancy, and you should be able to teach in at least three areas such as Accounting, Costing, Auditing, Taxation, and Accounting Software (ABSS/MYOB, ACCPAC/SAGE 300, XERO).

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Ability to teach in at least 3 areas: Accounting, Costing, Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Software.
• Knowledge or competency in BI tools (Power BI) or innovative technologies (Digitalisation, RPA, Gen AI, Blockchain, Fintech) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant and maintain strong industry links with schools.
• Contribute towards industry projects and student development activities.
• Engage with industry to update skills, knowledge and practices of the profession.
