Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Lecturer to contribute to accounting education and industry-linked projects. You will teach in multiple areas such as Accounting, Costing, Auditing, Taxation, and Accounting Software, while engaging in industry consultancy to keep your practice current.

You will also help foster links with industry and schools and support student development through industry attachments and project work.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Ability to teach in at least 3 or more areas: Accounting, Costing, Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Software (ABSS/MYOB, ACCPAC/SAGE 300, XERO).
• Knowledge of Power BI and emerging technologies (Digitalisation, RPA, Gen AI, Blockchain, Fintech) is advantageous.
• Contribute to industry projects and student development activities; maintain links with industry and schools.

Responsibilities

• Teach in at least 3 listed areas.
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay current with industry changes.
• Maintain strong linkages with industry and schools.
• Facilitate industry attachments or experiences regularly to update skills and practices.
• Contribute to student development activities and project work.
