CAP Advisory Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an accounting professional to assess financial data and liaise with clients for timely, accurate reporting within statutory timelines.

You will leverage automation tools, CRM systems, and AI-driven workflows to streamline tracking, create monthly and annual reports, and support tax computations under supervisor guidance. This role emphasizes advisory support and development of SOPs for new clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Well versed with Singapore Tax, GST Concept, IFRS Standards.
• One year of working experience in any accounts-based firm (internship or full-time)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director (Partner) in managing a portfolio of clients by leveraging automation tools and CRM systems to ensure proactive, timely, and high-quality service delivery.
• Recommend digital process enhancements to improve client experience.
• Support the implementation and refinement of tech-enabled SOPs, using workflow automation tools and dashboards to streamline tracking, communication, and compliance.
• Assess, plan, and improve data processing workflows using AI-powered OCR, bookkeeping automation platforms (e.g., Xero), and ML tools for classification and anomaly detection.
• Review AI-generated financial data and reports, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with operations to improve ML outputs through feedback and exception handling protocols.
• Draft monthly and annual reports for clients to reflect financial position, performance, and cash flow; annual reports to be approved by supervisor.
• Draft tax computation for accurate tax filing; to be approved by supervisor.
• Use digital collaboration platforms (Slack, GSuite) to assign, monitor, and review work delegated to staff; ensure efficient use of resources.
• Engage clients via digital platforms, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism and perform ad-hoc work as required.
• Meet monthly GST and ECI targets; oversee document processing and drafting GST reports and ECI computations for supervisor review.
• Assist the Director (Partner) with advisory matters for clients.
• Plan and execute accounting SOP setup for new clients.

Key Accountabilities:

• 1. Assist the Director (Partner) in managing a portfolio of clients by leveraging automation tools and CRM systems to ensure proactive, timely, and high- quality service delivery.
• 2. To recommend digital process enhancements to improve client experience.
• 3. To support the implementation and continuous refinement of tech-enabled SOPs, using workflow automation tools and dashboards to streamline tracking, communication, and compliance.
• 4. To assess, plan, and continuously improve data processing workflows using AI-powered OCR, bookkeeping automation platforms (e.g., Xero), and machine learning tools for classification and anomaly detection.
• 5. To review AI-generated financial data and reports, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with the operations team to improve machine learning outputs through structured feedback and exception handling protocols.
• 6. To draft monthly and annual reports for clients to ensure accurate reflection of the financial position, performance and cash flow. The annual reports need to be subsequently approved by the supervisor.
• 7. To draft tax computation for accurate tax filing. This needs to be subsequently approved by the supervisor.
• 8. To use digital collaboration platforms (e.g. Slack, GSuite) to assign, monitor, and review work delegated to support staff, ensuring efficient use of shared resources and real-time progress tracking.
• 9. To engage clients through digital communication platforms, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism and do up ad-hoc work as and when required by clients.
• 10. To meet monthly targets for GST and ECI, to ensure timely submission. This requires oversight of document processing accurately, and drafting the GST reports and ECI computation, to be subsequently reviewed by the supervisor
