Job summary

Rose Beauty Bar is seeking an experienced Accountant / Finance Executive to own the company’s accounts, clean up records and establish proper workflows for accurate financial management. The role covers high-volume transactions across retail, service, e-commerce and livestream platforms.

You will perform ongoing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, revenue tracking across multiple channels and prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts and analyses to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting, finance or bookkeeping experience is required.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts or substantial hands-on responsibilities.
• Experience with high-volume transactions across retail, service, e-commerce.
• Familiar with Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software.
• Able to independently review messy or incomplete existing accounts and establish a proper system.
• Looking for full-time applicants with relevant experience only.

Responsibilities

• Accounts clean-up and system setup to establish proper workflows and filing.

ACCOUNTANT / FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Rose Beauty Bar is looking for an experienced and hands-on Accountant / Finance Executive to take ownership of the company’s accounts, clean up existing financial records, establish proper accounting systems and manage ongoing bookkeeping as the business continues to grow.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working with a high volume of transactions across retail, service, e-commerce and online platforms.

Accounts Clean-Up & System Setup: Review, organise and clean up existing company accounts and financial records. Establish proper accounting workflows, filing systems, account categories and processes for accurate and efficient financial management moving forward.

Ongoing Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including recording revenue, expenses, purchases, payments, refunds and other day-to-day financial transactions.

Bank & Platform Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile transactions across payment gateways, booking systems and e-commerce/retail platforms.

Revenue & Expense Management: Track and account for revenue from different business channels, including salon services, livestream sales, e-commerce platforms and other sales channels. Categorise and monitor operating expenses, purchases, platform fees, commissions and other business costs.

Retail & Platform Accounting: Reconcile settlements and transactions from platforms such as Fresha, TikTok Shop, Shopee and other payment or retail platforms used by the company. Ensure platform fees, refunds, commissions and net payouts are properly accounted for.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports and other management reports required to understand the financial performance of the business.

Forecasting & Financial Analysis: Prepare revenue, expense, cash flow and profitability forecasts. Analyse financial performance, identify unusual variances and provide useful insights to support management decisions and future business planning.

Payroll & Statutory Support: Assist with payroll calculations, CPF submissions and other finance-related statutory requirements where required.

Costing & Management Accounts: Assist with service costing, product costing, campaign profitability, margins and other internal financial analysis where required.

Requirements:

1. Relevant accounting, finance or bookkeeping experience is required.
2. Must have experience handling full sets of accounts or substantial hands-on accounting responsibilities.
3. Experience with retail, service businesses, e-commerce or businesses with high transaction volumes is strongly preferred.
4. Comfortable handling ongoing bookkeeping and reconciling transactions from multiple platforms, bank accounts and payment channels.
5. Able to independently review messy or incomplete existing accounts and establish a proper accounting system.
6. Familiarity with accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets is required.
7. Able to prepare management reports, forecasts and financial analyses independently.
8. Strong attention to detail, organisation and accountability.

10. No minimum educational qualification required. While relevant accounting qualifications are an advantage, we place strong emphasis on practical experience, responsibility, discipline and the ability to independently manage the company’s accounts.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 11am – 7pm. Work From Home Thurs, Friday & Saturday (Half Day). In house for 3 days (Mon to Wed).
