Job summary

CK 99CAFE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Finance Executive to own end-to-end accounting, cash reconciliation, supplier payments, payroll support, and regulatory compliance with IRAS and CPF. You will operate as a one-person finance desk, reporting to the Business Owner.

The role covers GL/AP/AR, cash flow monitoring, supplier invoices, payroll processing, and GST/annual tax coordination in a fast-paced F&B environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the Singapore F&B, retail, or hospitality SME sector.
• Autonomy: Proven track record of running a solo finance desk or "one-person show" efficiently.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Up-to-date understanding of Singapore GST rules, MOM payroll regulations, and CPF requirements.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail/F&B environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts (GL, AP, AR) independently.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation, matching cash and digital sales against the POS backend.
• Monitor bank balances and cash flow for smooth operations.
• Verify and process monthly supplier payments for raw ingredients.
• Cross-check supplier invoices against DOs to avoid discrepancies.
• Monitor food cost percentages and flag price spikes.
• Process monthly payroll for kitchen, service, and part-time staff.
• Handle monthly CPF submissions, Foreign Worker Levies, and IR21/IR8A clearances.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and coordinate annual corporate tax filings with IRAS.

Job description

As our Finance Executive, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end accounting, book-keeping, and financial health of our restaurant. Operating as a one-person finance team, you will report directly to the Business Owner. You will be responsible for ensuring flawless cash reconciliation, managing supplier payments, assist in payroll, and keeping the company 100% compliant with IRAS and CPF regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Sets of Accounts & CashControl

• Manage full sets of accounts (GL, AP, AR) independently.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation, matching physical cash and digital sales against the POS backend system.
• Maintain tight control over daily cash flow and monitor bank balances to ensure smooth operations.

2. Supplier & Food Cost Management

• Verify and process monthly payments for raw ingredient suppliers (seafood, meat, dry goods).
• Cross-check supplier invoices against kitchen delivery orders (DOs) to eliminate discrepancies.
• Monitor food cost percentages and flag sudden pricing spikes from suppliers to the owner.

3. Payroll & Regulatory Compliance

• Process monthly payroll for all kitchen, service, and part-time staff accurately.
• Manage monthly CPF submissions, FWL (Foreign Worker Levies), and employee tax clearances (IR21/IR8A).
• Prepare and submit GST returns and coordinate annual corporate tax filings with IRAS.
