Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead month-end closings, drive the group budgeting process, and ensure statutory compliance across subsidiaries.

The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance to local teams and manage full-cycle accounting with strong governance. You will oversee reporting packages, coordinate with outsourced accountants and auditors, monitor cash flows, and mentor junior staff to strengthen technical proficiency and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Significant experience with month-end close and budgeting
• Strong leadership and communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Review subsidiaries’ monthly accounts and tax filings

Role Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of month-end closings, driving the group budgeting process, and maintaining strict compliance with corporate and statutory guidelines. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and financial professional who can provide strategic guidance to local teams and effectively manage full-cycle accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Subsidiary Oversight: Review subsidiaries’ monthly accounts, reporting packages, and tax filing documents to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and tax filings
  
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Perform deep-dive variance analysis and prepare key management financial reports for leadership review.
  
• Full-Cycle Accounting & Leadership: Manage the full cycle of accounting matters and provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members as needed.
  
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows and assess the capital requirements of various subsidiaries.
  
• Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues to local and regional subsidiary teams.
  
• Statutory Compliance: Draft statutory financial statements and ensure all reporting meets regulatory standards.
  
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact to liaise with outsourced accountants, company secretaries, external auditors, and tax consultants
