Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a finance professional to oversee subsidiaries’ monthly accounts, ensure timely reporting, and coordinate group-wide budgeting and statutory reporting.

The role involves working with outsourced accountants, auditors, and tax consultants to consolidate financial information and maintain internal controls. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to support regional finance teams across the group.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the review of subsidiaries’ monthly accounts, financial reporting packages and tax filing documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Coordinate month-end closing and tax compliance activities across assigned subsidiaries.
• Analyse financial results and variances and prepare management reports highlighting key financial trends and matters requiring attention.
• Monitor subsidiaries’ cash flow positions, funding requirements and capital needs, and communicate significant matters to management.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to regional finance teams on accounting and reporting matters.
• Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and related financial reporting requirements.
• Manage communications with outsourced accountants, company secretaries, auditors and tax consultants on behalf of subsidiaries.
• Coordinate Group-level budgeting and forecasting exercises and consolidate relevant financial information from subsidiaries.
• Monitor adherence to Group accounting policies, financial guidelines and internal control procedures.
• Contribute to other Group finance initiatives and financial matters as assigned by management.
