Job summary

The role involves monthly reporting, asset accounting, and year-end financial statements, with a focus on WIP analysis and profitability optimization. The candidate should have at least 5 years in the construction sector, 2 years in group consolidation, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and 2 years of consolidation experience at Group level.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP system.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial and statutory accounting for the assigned entity.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including asset accounting, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and year-end financial statements.
• Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and offer recommendations on project profitability and cost optimization.
• Calculate key financial metrics and conduct trend analyses of financial data.
• Participate in the development of group budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely filing.
• Manage tax-related responsibilities, including quarterly GST submissions and corporate tax filings.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed, including reviewing policies and procedures.
