Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for the Managing Agent (MA) entity, overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and governance while coordinating with the MCST portfolios team. You will handle month-end close, general ledger maintenance, GST reporting, audit schedules, budgeting, and variance analysis.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of full-set accounting experience and proficiency with accounting systems,

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of full-set accounting experience.
• Experience in Managing Agent / real estate industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with MCST environment is a plus.
• Proficient in accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for the Managing Agent entity
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and year-end closing
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
• Handle GST reporting, tax filings, and statutory compliance
• Oversee company-level AP/AR, including vendor payments and billing
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management
• Prepare and track annual budget for the MA entity
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
