Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience with statutory audits, GST/tax filings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Financial Management & Reporting: Manage the full set of accounts and oversee monthly closing activities, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Taxation & Filings: Prepare and submit GST returns; work with tax agents for annual filings.
• Corporate Governance: Liaise with corporate secretaries on annual returns and board resolutions.
• Banking Liaison: Manage banking relationships and related reviews.
• Team Leadership: Supervise staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Internal Controls: Strengthen accounting policies and procedures for compliance.
• Ad-hoc Support: Produce additional finance reports as requested by management.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely monthly closings, maintaining robust internal controls, and coordinating compliance across external audits, tax filings, and corporate secretarial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Manage the full set of accounts and oversee monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accurate preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and resolve audit queries efficiently.
• Taxation & Statutory Filings: Prepare and submit GST returns timely; collaborate with tax agents for annual tax filings.
• Corporate Governance: Liaise with corporate secretaries on annual returns, board resolutions, and other secretarial matters.
• Banking Liaison: Manage operational banking relationships and attend to ad-hoc and annual reviews in timely manner.
• Team Leadership: Guide and supervise staff to foster a harmonious workplace and efficient workflow.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance.
• Ad-hoc Support: Execute additional ad-hoc finance report and duties as requested by management.
