Job summary

Daikin Airconditioning (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full-set accounts, budgeting, cost control and statutory reporting.

You will work with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and timely financial analysis, while supporting governance and treasury activities in a dynamic commercial environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong tax knowledge, and hands-on SAP experience to drive improvements in reporting

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/Chartered Accountant/CPA
• At least 5 years' experience handling full set of accounts in a commercial sector
• Good knowledge of Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting Standards, GST and tax laws
• Hands-on experience in project costing and accounts consolidation will be an advantage
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environment
• Strong leadership, teamwork, motivation, and ability to work independently
• Hands-on experience with SAP (R3) / SAP S4 HANA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements and other financial reports regularly
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget and explain variances
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and monitor project costing and variances
• Handle financial reporting, banking & treasury, tax, GST, audit, corporate secretarial matters and statutory reporting
• Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting policies and suggest improvements
• Assist in the oversight of the Finance Department
• Support ad hoc projects/assignments as needed

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of company's budget and establish reasons for variances




• Work closely with the project teams to ensure accurate and timely collection and monitoring of cost estimates and prepare and analyze project costing and variances




• Handle financial reporting, banking & treasury, tax, GST, audit, corporate secretarial matters and government and statutory reporting.




• Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting policies and work processes, and make recommendations for improvement




• Assist in the oversight of Finance Department




• Assist with any special projects/assignments/any other ad hoc duties

Requirements
