MICHAEL PAGE (PERSONNEL) PTE. LTD. is recruiting for a Lead Insurance Regulatory and Financial Reporting specialist in Singapore. The role focuses on regulatory submissions, financial reporting, and supporting statutory statements for a global insurer with regional exposure.

You will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with regional finance leaders to ensure timely, accurate reporting while enhancing control processes and maintaining MAS compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in general insurance finance.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting journals to support accurate financial reporting.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare insurance regulatory submissions in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Support the preparation of statutory and general-purpose financial statements.
• Ensure reporting activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Review and enhance accounting processes, controls, and operating procedures.
• Work closely with finance leadership and regional stakeholders to support compliance and reporting initiatives.
