Job summary

Michael Page Singapore is recruiting for a lead insurance regulatory and financial reporting role. The successful candidate will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, and deliver MAS regulatory submissions, supporting statutory and general-purpose financial statements.

You will collaborate with regional finance leadership to ensure controls, timelines, and compliant reporting across Asia-Pacific. A degree in accounting and at least five years in general insurance with MAS knowledge are

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience within the general insurance industry.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting journals to support accurate financial reporting.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare insurance regulatory submissions in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Support the preparation of statutory and general-purpose financial statements.
• Ensure reporting activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Review and enhance accounting processes, controls, and operating procedures.
• Work closely with finance leadership and regional stakeholders to support compliance and reporting initiatives.
