Job summary

Michael Page Singapore is recruiting for a lead insurance regulatory and financial reporting role. The successful candidate will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, and deliver MAS regulatory submissions, supporting statutory and general-purpose financial statements.

You will collaborate with regional finance leadership to ensure controls, timelines, and compliant reporting across Asia-Pacific. A degree in accounting and at least five years in general insurance with MAS knowledge are

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience within the general insurance industry.
Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post accounting journals to support accurate financial reporting.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
Prepare insurance regulatory submissions in accordance with applicable requirements.
Support the preparation of statutory and general-purpose financial statements.
Ensure reporting activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Review and enhance accounting processes, controls, and operating procedures.
Work closely with finance leadership and regional stakeholders to support compliance and reporting initiatives.
