Job summary

Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Accountant (AR & GL) to manage the full spectrum of finance functions in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

The role requires CPA/CA or a degree in accounting/finance/economics, at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and strong MS Excel skills. SAP experience is advantageous while the candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualification or degree in accounting/finance/economics required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and report financial matters including management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, tax and GST reporting, audit schedules and intercompany reconciliation, and verify payment records.
• Perform credit review for vendor selection; liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers and review their work.
• Liaise with the finance team at Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities.

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, Corporate tax and GST reporting , audit schedules intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records.
• Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
• Work closely with outsourced service providers and review the work submitted.
• Liaise with finance team based in Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities.

Job Requirements

• CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
