Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial reporting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and undertake risk assessment. The ideal candidate is proactive, has a degree in finance or accounting, and possesses 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position offers a salary of S$4,500.00 – S$5,200.00 per month with a 5-day work week.

Job description

• Ensure month-end and year-end close processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare, review, and analyze management and financial reports.
• Prepare or review required internal and external schedules and reports.
• Perform accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, including sub-ledgers and bank accounts, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Identify risks in the assigned business areas and suggest ways to mitigate them.
• Maintain working papers, schedules, and documentation to meet quality standards.
• Provide timely support and respond to queries from divisions, coordinating with other teams when needed.
• Ensure accounting treatments comply with company policies and internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors and other relevant external parties as required.
• Collaborate with Consolidation & Group Reporting and FP&A teams on updates from accounting changes or new business activities.
• Stay informed of IFRS and local reporting updates.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience; audit background is also welcomed
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and resourceful in managing complex financial tasks

Location : Chai Chee – 5 days

Salary : S$4,500.00 – S$5,200.00 per month
