Job summary

Talent Trace is partnering with a well-established shipyard to recruit an Accountant for its regional finance team. You’ll report to the Assistant Manager and oversee accounting, audit and tax for Singapore and Saudi Arabia entities.

In this role you’ll prepare month-end closing, audit schedules, tax computations and intercompany transfers, acting as a proactive finance partner to the Saudi subsidiary and driving improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in regional or multinational settings.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST and corporate tax.
• Experience with multi-entity audit and tax compliance and cross-border exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end closing for the Singapore and Saudi entities and review GL transactions
• Prepare audit schedules and support the annual audit and financial statements
• Handle balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare tax computations and submit GST returns on time
• Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions
• Act as a key finance business partner to the Saudi subsidiary, keeping it compliant with SOPs and internal controls
• Drive process improvements, prepare management reports and support regulatory submissions

What you’ll bring:

• 3 to 5 years of accounting or finance experience, ideally regional or MNC, Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST and corporate tax, Multi-entity audit and tax compliance experience, Cross-border exposure, preferably in the Middle East, Experience managing a team, Proficiency in Excel and Word (SAP is a plus), CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred.
