What You Will Do
- Financial/management reporting and variance analysis, timely submission of financial statements and periodic management reports; analyze financial results to identify significant trends and variances.
- Business partnering with internal departments, providing financial solutions to internal stakeholders to assist informed and accurate decisions.
- Liaise with inter‑companies to ensure timely receipt/payments, resolve disputes.
- Lead/participate in management controls and audit functions – review/perform SOX testing, evaluate effectiveness of internal controls; support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and Companies Act.
- Lead liaison with external auditors on statutory reporting activities.
- Liaise with tax agents on corporate tax matters, filing GST returns.
- Assist in other finance support functions including budgeting and special projects.
- Lead/support finance and continuous improvement projects on needs basis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor of Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
- CPA will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office software.
- Knowledge of GAAP & IFRS requirements is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Meticulous, with good analytical & problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to participate actively in company‑wide projects.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate well with all levels.
