Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Account Executive to manage AP/AR and full-set accounting for Singapore and Malaysia operations.

The role is at International Business Park with a 5-day work week, 8:30am–5:30pm, focusing on accurate financial records and timely closing. You will prepare full sets of accounts, handle AP/AR, support monthly closes and audits, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on AP/AR experience
• Knowledge of full-set accounting
• Familiar with Singapore and Malaysia accounting practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts
• Handle day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare accounting schedules and maintain accurate financial records
• Support monthly closing activities and balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist with yearly audits and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Assist with inter-company billing and transactions
• Manage collections and payments as part of the end-to-end accounting process
• Ensure accounting records are accurately updated and reconciled
• Ensure accounting practices, controls and procedures comply with company policies
• Assist in improving internal controls, accounting processes and reporting systems
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal representatives, bankers and other external parties
• Support management with other ad-hoc accounting and finance assignments
