Job summary

AISEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a professional accountant in Singapore to manage full set accounting and related financial processes. The role covers GL, AP, AR, and daily payments, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG, and be proficient in Excel and ERP software such as SAP or ACCPAC.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy/Finance, or recognized professional certifications (ACCA/CPA).
• 1–3 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, ACCPAC or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounting: Maintain GL, AP, and AR with daily payment records.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Track raw material costs, overhead, and assist with stock-taking and valuation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and assist with budget forecasting.
• Reconciliation: Monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations; process invoices and payments.
• Audit & Compliance: Support year-end audits and ensure alignment with regulations.

Job description

• Full Set Accounting: Maintain General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR), including daily payment records.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Track raw material costs, overhead expenses, and assist with periodic factory stock-taking and inventory valuation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and assist with budget forecasting.
• Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations, and process customer invoices or vendor payments.
• Audit & Compliance: Support year-end audit exercises and ensure alignment with financial regulations.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or recognized professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, ACCPAC, or ERP systems
