A financial services company in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts and perform daily financial duties. The role involves preparing management reports and handling intercompany transactions. Candidates should have a diploma in accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Xero and MS Office is essential. This position offers a collaborative team environment.
- Manage full set of accounts
- Perform daily accounting and finance duties including AR, AP processes, GL, tax, and bank reconciliation
- Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Handle intercompany billing, manage transactions, and reconcile intercompany accounts
- Review staff claims for accuracy and supporting documentation before processing payments
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
- Prepare required schedules/report for yearly audit and tax purpose
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero) and MS Office
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
