Job summary

ZSE Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full-set accounts, GST and tax compliance, and monthly close processes. The role requires hands-on accounting, strong analytical skills, and experience with auditing liaison.

You will handle journal entries, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analyses while coordinating with the Finance Manager to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate records. Experience in construction/process industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Min. 3 years experience in construction/process industry.
• Experience in construction/process industry is highly preferred.
• Understands how construction accounts work and identifies revenue and cost based on progress.
• Experience preparing full set of accounts, liaising with auditor and company secretary.
• Hands-on and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Accounting software, MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Handle Full Set Accounts (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, month end closing).
• Manage GST, corporate income tax, statutory audits and other SG compliance matters with external advisers where appropriate.
• Prepare journal entries, P&L, balance-sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and financial reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Perform day-to-day accounting data entries.
• Reports to Finance Manager for discrepancies or issues.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

The Accounts Executive shall be fully knowledgeable and responsible in the accounts receivable and payable, tax requirements and submission, detail orientated and tidy in book keeping.

Job Description

• Handle Full Set Accounts (Accounts payable/receivables, bank reconciliations, month end closing ect)
• Manage GST, corporate income tax, statutory audit and other Singapore compliance matters, with support from external advisers where appropriate.
• Prepare journal entries, P&L, balance-sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and financial reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Perform day-day accounting data entries.
• Reports to Finance Manager should there be any discrepancies or issues.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management as required.
