Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Tuas is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee bar bending on the shop floor, read drawings, and ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works.

The role requires supervision experience in a manufacturing environment and a diploma in engineering. You will manage manpower and safety, plan critical activities, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular checks to ensure quality compliance and that all works are executed according to approved drawings.
• Ensure that production activities comply with safety and quality standards at all times.

Location: Tuas

Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)

Working hours : Mon-Fri (8am - 5pm): Sat (8am - 12pm)

Salary : $3,500 - $4,500 (Based on market rate, subject to individual's qualification & experience)

Overview: We are a public-listed company that specialises in the manufacturing of steel prefabricated reinforcement for the construction industry. We are seeking suitably qualified personnel to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor progress of bar bending activities on the production shopfloor.
• Read and interpret drawings, bar bending schedules and shop drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works in accordance with approved drawings.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and safety issues promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma in any engineering field
• Relevant experience in production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in steel fabrication, rebar processing, or similar manufacturing operations will be an advantage.
• Willing to work on rotating day and night shifts. (Currently only day shift, night shift for future arrangement)
• Experience in manpower planning and supervising production workers.
• Knowledge of safety management
• WSH certification for supervisory or lifting supervision will be an added advantage
