Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing client in Tuas. The role oversees bar bending on the production shopfloor, with a 44-hour workweek (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-12pm) and a 5.5-day schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in engineering and have relevant supervision experience in manufacturing, preferably steel fabrication or rebar processing. Rotation of day and night shifts and strong safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering field is required.
• Experience in production supervision in manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication or rebar processing is advantageous.
• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts; currently day shift.
• Experience in manpower planning and supervising production workers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor progress of bar bending activities on the production shopfloor.
• Read and interpret drawings, bar bending schedules and shop drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works in accordance with approved drawings.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and safety issues promptly.
• Plan ahead and manage materials, manpower and equipment for critical activities.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure quality compliance and that all works are executed according to approved drawings.
• Ensure that production activities comply with safety and quality standards at all times.
