Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Food Product Development professional to design and optimize dairy and beverage formulations in our lab and pilot plant settings. You will document experiments and generate technical reports to support cross-functional teams in Marketing, Technical Service, Sales and Operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology, with 2–3 years in food product development or related manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in food product development, applications, or food manufacturing.
• Dairy experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product development activities in laboratory and pilot plant environments, with a focus on dairy and beverage applications.
• Support formulation development, process optimization, troubleshooting, and application testing.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and project activities.
• Prepare technical reports and application documentation.
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Technical Service, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Support customer projects through the development and evaluation of application prototypes.
• Assist with technical presentations, seminars, and training activities.
• Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Manage laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment, and samples.
• Maintain and organize the ingredient library, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and tracking.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep of laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Comply with all EHS&S policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
