Job summary

CGP Personnel is seeking candidates for an operations planning role at Pasir Panjang/Tuas, Singapore. The position offers permanent employment with structured on-the-job training and a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (day and night).

Basic salary is SGD 3,000 per month plus a monthly shift allowance of around SGD 200. Roles involve learning vessel stowage, yard planning, and use of terminal operating systems to support daily terminal operations.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma in any discipline or GCE A-Level qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; no prior experience required as training will be provided.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willing to work rotating day and overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays; 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop vessel stowage and container yard plans to support efficient terminal operations.
• Use terminal operating systems to prepare, monitor and execute operational plans.
• Coordinate with operations specialists and teams to ensure plans are carried out smoothly.
• Gain exposure to vessel activities, quay-side operations and resource planning.
• Support coordination and management of container yard activities for efficient utilization.
• Develop operational, analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on training and experience.

Working Hours

• 7:30am – 7:30pm (Day Shift)
• 7:30pm – 7:30am (Night Shift)
• Rotating schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, on a recurring cycle.
