Job summary

ALPSOFT TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPN gateways, and related devices in Singapore.

You will handle day-to-day network operations, respond to incidents, and maintain diagrams, inventory, and incident reports. The role requires 3+ years' experience and relevant certifications, with opportunities for collaboration and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing network and security infrastructure.
• ItIL certified, CCNA or equivalent network certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, IPS/IDS systems, VPN gateways, proxies, NAC appliances, load balancers, and related devices.
• Perform day-to-day network and security operations, including monitoring and managing network infrastructure.
• Respond to network incidents according to severity levels and meet service levels.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, inventory, incident reports, and reports on performance.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors, operators, ISPs, and other service providers; assist with onboarding of systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and information security guidelines; provide training to enhance knowledge.
