Job summary

Getronics in Singapore is seeking an on-site field engineer to conduct site surveys, install networking gear, and support migration activities. You will handle rack/stack, basic configurations for remote access, and ongoing on-call support.

The role requires 3 years of experience and the ability to read technical documents; Mandarin is preferred for communication. You will work on equipment such as routers, LAN switches, Wireless LAN, and firewalls, with on-site and standby SLA commitments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in field service or IT infrastructure.
• Basic command of English; Mandarin language preferred.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site activities at customer locations (survey, provisioning, installation, and support).
• Install equipment including routers, switches, wireless LAN, and firewall; configure for remote access.
• Provide 7x24 on-call support and on-standby SLA 7*24*4; respond to incidents.
• Replace field replaceable units and return equipment to normal operation; handle RMA packing.
