Job summary

Nxera in Singapore is seeking an experienced DC Operations professional to manage 24x7 data center performance, respond to incidents, coordinate maintenance, and support customer requests to ensure continuous infrastructure reliability.

You will lead incident response, perform shift duties, liaise with vendors, and ensure SOP/MOP/ERP compliance while maintaining accurate facility documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience managing 24x7 DC operations.
• Knowledge of DC infrastructure including electrical and mechanical systems, fire detection and protection, building management systems, and environment monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage incidents promptly, escalating as needed based on severity and SLA.
• Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises and act as first-level incident responder.
• Fulfill customer requests and manage systems such as EMS and Electronic Visitation Management System
• Provide remote hands support including equipment testing and basic maintenance tasks
• Manage asset tagging, labeling, and inventory tracking
• Perform shift duties to support 24x7 operations
• Monitor UPS, power, temperature, humidity, and water sensors to ensure operational status
• Ensure DC infrastructure like EMS and access control systems function properly
• Update DC-related documentation and generate reports as needed
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues and communicate service status
• Adhere to SOP/MOP/ERP and change control procedures
• Coordinate maintenance/shutdown activities with vendors
• Close incidents with root cause analysis and issue change notifications
• Liaise with internal and external customers to meet SLAs
• Perform access clearance duties and participate in projects as required
