Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Digital Compliance and Governance professional to support DSS/SSP remediation, maintain compliance records, and help improve EMA’s public-facing digital services. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies to meet Whole-of-Government standards.

The role covers governance of EMA’s websites, service reviews, change activities, and reporting. Strong communication and MS 365 proficiency with Copilot are valued.

Qualifications

• Education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in digital services, governance, or stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
• Familiarity with government digital standards and audits is a plus.

[What the role is]

About the Role

You will support EMA’s digital service compliance and governance work. This includes coordinating remediation activities, maintaining compliance records, and helping to improve EMA’s public-facing digital services. You will work with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies to meet Whole-of-Government digital standards.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

Compliance & Governance

• Support Digital Service Standards (DSS) and System Security Plan (SSP) assessments and remediation.
• Fix content-level issues on EMA’s Corporate Website as part of DSS SSP remediation.
• Track compliance findings, remediation actions, and progress.
• Coordinate with business owners, vendors, and project teams to close identified gaps.
• Maintain compliance evidence, documentation, and audit records.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and management updates.

Digital Service Management

• Support the governance and improvement of EMA’s websites and digital platforms.
• Coordinate service reviews, enhancement requests, and change activities.
• Monitor service quality against government digital standards.
• Assist with digital service inventory and lifecycle planning.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

• Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies.
• Track vendor deliverables and remediation commitments.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and project documentation where needed.

Reporting & Secretariat Support

• Prepare briefing papers, presentations, and management reports.
• Maintain project plans, action trackers, and risk registers.
• Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items.

Digital Transformation

• Support the rollout and adoption of digital tools and platforms.
• Assist with user engagement, training, and change management activities.
• Contribute to digital capability and cross-functional improvement projects.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements

Qualifications

Education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Experience in digital services, AEM content management system, project coordination, compliance, governance, or stakeholder engagement is an advantage. Prior work with government digital platforms, vendors, or ICT projects is a plus.

Skills

You should be well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable preparing documentation and reports, and proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Copilot.

Good to Have

Familiarity with DSS SSP, cybersecurity governance, accessibility requirements, WOGAA, or government digital standards. Experience supporting audits, compliance assessments, governance reviews, or website and portal projects.
