Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is hiring a Shift Technician for our chemicals processing operation at Penjuru. This 12-hour rotating shift role focuses on batch processing, DCS/PLC related tasks, and working within safety procedures.

Responsibilities include operating production stages, material handling, supporting supervisors to resolve process and quality issues, and moving materials up to 20kg. Training is provided for candidates without prior experience.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing/process/plant environment.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC.
• Forklift operating experience or certification.
• Candidates without prior experience will be provided training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support various stages of manufacturing and production activities in accordance with established work procedures and safety requirements.
• Conduct material handling activities using industrial equipment where applicable.
• Support supervisors in identifying and resolving production, process, and quality-related issues.
• Perform batch processing activities in a partially manual work environment.
• Handle and move materials as required, including items weighing up to approximately 20kg.
• Participate in workplace safety and emergency preparedness programmes and take appropriate action during emergency situations.
