Job summary

GMP Technologies on Jurong Island is seeking a Senior Shift Technician for our chemical processing operations. You will monitor DCS, follow SOPs, and coordinate field actions to prevent mis-operation.

The role requires a Diploma/Nitec in Chemical Engineering, 3+ years as a DCS operator, and familiarity with ISO9001/14001/45001. Shift work (12 hours) in a fast-paced plant. Polymerization or extrusion experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years as a DCS operator in a chemical environment.
• Familiarity with ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001 and SS651.

Responsibilities

• Operate DCS to control process parameters during start-up, normal operation and shutdown.
• Follow SOPs, EHS regulations, and risk assessments.
• Closely monitor DCS alarms, analyze deviations and respond per procedures.
• Coordinate between DCS actions and field operations to prevent mis-operation.
• Demonstrate ownership, teamwork, and sincerity.
