Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a diligent trust accounting professional to maintain accurate records for a portfolio of trusts and underlying companies in Singapore. You will support distributions, payments, and receipts, and assist with regulatory filings across jurisdictions.

The role requires 3–5 years in trust accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. ACCA pursuit is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of trust accounting experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Meticulous and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel.
• Team player
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting. Candidates in the midst of pursuing ACCA accreditation will be considered

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely and proper accounts and other financial records for a portfolio of trusts and/or underlying companies.
• Provide accounting support to the Trust Administration team such as distributions, payments from and receipts into trusts and/or underlying companies.
• Prepare annual income tax filing, companies’ (e.g. BVI, SG) annual filing and any other regulatory filings as required for a group of trusts and/or underlying companies.
• Prepare annual and ad hoc financial statement for a group of trusts and/or underlying companies.
• Carry out annual and ad hoc trust fees billing
• Ensure completeness of bank portfolio statements received.
• Monitor daily interfaces into accounting system.
• Contribute efforts for ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.
