Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Customer Service/Planning professional to manage and nurture key customer accounts, coordinate orders, and ensure timely updates. The role requires experience in planning, production coordination, or supply chain, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will liaise with production, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to expedite orders, maintain system data, and support on-time delivery across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in business management or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in planning, production coordination, or supply chain roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing and new customer accounts.
• Provide timely responses to customer enquiries, requests, and order updates.
• Keep customers informed of order status, shipment schedules, and potential issues.
• Process customer Purchase Orders (PO) and issue order acknowledgements in a timely manner.
• Process RFQs and coordinate quotation follow-ups with relevant departments.
• Handle change orders and ensure alignment between quoted prices and customer PO.
• Maintain accurate data entry and update sales orders and job orders in the company's ERP/MRP system
• Adjust material allocations and monitor order progress within the system.
• Monitor daily shipment schedules and ensure delivery timelines are met.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to expedite orders when necessary.
• Identify potential delays and proactively escalate units.
• Prepare and submit customers' open order reports accurately and on time
